Steering Stabilizer for 2025 Class C RV on Ford E-450 Chassis

Updated 03/19/2025 | Published 03/10/2025

Question:

I have a 2025 Class C RV on Ford E-450 V8 engine. There is some play in my steering and told that a steering stabilizer should solve this problem. I see there are several choices. Can you suggest what would best work on my RV. Thank you

Hey Kevin! Welcome back. Since you have a 2025 Class C on a Ford E-450 chassis you need the Roadmaster Reflex RV Steering Stabilizer with Mtg Brackets # RM-RBK24-RSSC. This is specifically designed for Class C motorhomes built on the E-450 and includes everything you need for installation. The Reflex will keep you center and remove that play resulting in a much better experience and reduction in road fatigue. If you need anything else don't hesitate to reach out in the comments below.

What is the difference between the suggested Reflex and the exact center RM47MR

@KevinB the Exact Center # RM47MR is more of a proactive system and the Reflex is more reactive. Both are going to do the job. In my experience the Reflex has proven itself to be the better option and also saves you some money.

@KevinB reactive as in you start to move and the spring is compressed so it "reacts" and pushes back to keep you center. The Exact Center uses a nitrogen-charged gas spring that applies full force as they say "when you need it." Pretty much this thing is pushing all the time to keep you center, it doesn't wait for the spring to compress to push back.
