Hey Doug, thanks for reaching out.
The Replacement Control Panel # LC421484 is the updated version of that system. Lippert has made a few revisions over the years, and with the newer versions, the touch response has been improved. We haven’t seen the same issues with unresponsive buttons like you described, so you should see a much more consistent response when using it.
As for where it’s made, I double-checked with Lippert, and this panel is manufactured in the U.S.
What kind of RV are you running this on?

My old one failed. Screen malfunctioned. Simple replacement and all is working as before. Also a recommend. Further, I recommend Etrailer. They are easy to work with.

I purchased this product when we returned from a big trip to Yellowstone as our touchscreen on the auto level went out. It was a simple plug-n-play. It popped in and worked perfectly since. I've had it since August 2025.

Doug, Personally I did not look to see if there was a "made in xxxxx" on the card. My old control panel was as hosed as your explanation of yours is currently behaving. I installed it, and voila, it auto leveled as it should. You can find the control panel cheaper elsewhere, however, my experience with eTrailer is that if I was to have an issue, they would stand by what they sell. Dave....................good luck

I too had an LCI control panel that was not working properly. I had to go into the Manual Model to raise and lower the landing gear just to get it to work. The buttons were getting worn and I felt that they were not making contact within the touch pad. I finally replaced it with a new one. It made all the difference in the world. The new one is very responsive. No need to go into Manual Mode or press several times to get the landing gear to function. Not sure where the LCI Touch Pad was manufactured. I am completely happy with the new control panel.

Don't have a clue where it is made but it does work and so I don't care. it works perfectly without any glitches. I replaced mine because it got wet and shorted out, but I never had problems in the first place. Recommend.
