Hey Wanda, thanks for reaching out. We have just the thing! To connect your Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit # 521877-1 to a tow bar you will need the following:

- Replacement Quick Disconnect Crossbar Assembly for Roadmaster Tow Bars # 910021-00

This will be compatible with any Roadmaster brand tow bar.

Do you already have a tow bar? Which one?

Are you needing any other parts for your flat tow setup?

The etrailer expert is point on! I bought this for pulling my mini cooper- it’s the easiest set up I have ever had- make hook up and strip down a breeze. I have watched others at RV parts hook and unhook and I have none of the troubles they do…. We are in and out in roughly 5 minutes for a complete hook up or strip down at any angle the rigs are sitting. Other brands you have to be perfectly straight and level to hook and unhook…. When you want to have a clean look to the front of your car this is the package!

This solved the problem of strength. Easy to install makes a world of difference. I didn't care for the loose fit without it. I also added hitch movement brackets. Tightened everything up so no sway behind my rv. Hope this helps

Ok I am totally a beginner. I purchased the base plate for our Reese tow bar but needed to be able to get the brackets to hook the base plate to the tow bar. Per Andy this base plate may not work for my tow bar. What I need is possibly a new tow bar and base plate to hook to my mini cooper and any brackets that dont come with those to hook together. If there is some brackets I can buy to hook my current Reese tow bar to the base plate I bought would be ideal

@WandaB Ok gotcha. So the Roadmaster brand base plates will not be compatible with a Reese tow bar. There is no adapter or alternative bracket for this. You will need a new tow bar like the Roadmaster Falcon 2 # RM-520 or the etrailer SD # e74ZR. Both of those will be directly compatible with the quick connect crossbar assembly.

We use our crossbar to tow a Ford Ranger, it is quick and easy to connect and disconnect, works great and have had no problems.
