Will the FR27TQ be compatible with the FR68TD.i it appears you have the option to either direct your air flow straight down or change it more through you’re existing duck work. The option is definitely nice to have. Other than cutting hole in your ceiling for your grill what else would have to be done. We currently have a Coleman 48000-4 Thank You!

No, they are not compatible Cliff, but you won't need it.
The Furrion Variable Speed Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w/ Heat Pump item # FR27TQ includes a ducted air distribution box designed specifically for the Chill Cubes. It has the same vents that can be opened and closed to push more air into the ducts.
The Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner w/ Heat Pump item # FR27TQ will definitely replace your existing Coleman 48000-4. It includes the Chill Cube AC, ducted air distribution box, and a thermostat. You will be able to reuse your existing wiring and cutout.
I attached a couple of pictures below of the air distribution box included with the Furrion item # FR27TQ. You'll be able to see the vents opened and closed.
The Replacement Air Distribution Box FR68TD works exclusively with the Furrion Chill ACs. Similar name but entirely different systems so the parts are not compatible.
