I have a Whitewater Retro 181B camper and I want a little more clearance. I just want to make sure if part K71-707-01 will work for me. Here is the trailer axle sticker information. Lippert Components Inc. Serial 045-002930395 A different number I dont know what it means LC135-DTB-88.5-66.5-ID-10D-LPIB-L-545 Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hey Kirk, thanks for reaching out.

Based on the LCI number you provided, it looks like your trailer is equipped with leaf springs. The Torflex Lift Kit # K71-707-01 is designed for #10 Torflex (torsion) axles rated between 2,300 and 4,000 lbs, so it wouldn’t work with your setup since torsion axles don’t use leaf springs.

If your leaf springs are currently mounted under the axle, a good option would be the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00. This kit moves the springs to the top of the axle and will give you roughly 3" to 5" of lift.

What’s the main reason you’re looking to add some height to the trailer?
