Question:

I will be towing about 3200 with a capacity of 3500. My sienna droops in the rear with just people in ir. Would i need airbags or something rated to 3500 or is the rating a measure of additional lift? I realize it doesnt add to towing capacity

Hey Kent. The 1,000 lbs rating on the Air Lift 1000 Air Helper Springs item # AL60732 is for the tongue weight. A 3,500 lbs trailer typically has a tongue weight of 350 lbs - 400 lbs plus you have to take in account how much gear and people you have in the back of your van.

If you're already sagging in the rear end, the Air Lift item # AL60732 is exactly what you'll need. It's going to prop up your rear coil springs and keep them from compressing all the way. These air bags are going to be beneficial for daily driving and towing.

The Air Lift item # AL60732 have been confirmed to fit both the 2WD and 4WD models of the 2015 Toyota Sienna. They'll install inside your rear coil springs like the attached picture below.

What kind of trailer are you towing?
