What B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch Fits A 2019 Ford F-250 Lariat Without Factory Prep Package?

Updated 05/26/2026 | Published 04/21/2026

Question:

Hi, I have a 2019 F250 Lariat 6.7L without a factory installed prep kit. I was looking at the BandW kits. There are two. Part numbers ending in BWGNRK1116, and 1111. What is the difference. Is one easier to install that the other. I plan to do it myself, so looking for the best option. Also, do they come complete with the ball or is that separate.

Hey Michael, thanks for reaching out. For your 2019 Ford F-250 Lariat 6.7L you'll want the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1116.

The # BWGNRK1111 you mentioned is for the 2011-2016 F-250, so that wouldn't be a fit for the 2019 model.

The kit does come complete with the frame brackets, center section, hardware and ball. There is nothing else you'll need to order with it.

It'll be a no-drill install and can definitely be done DIY with the right tools and a bit of know-how. The B&W instructions are pretty clear and easy to follow. You'll find those instructions linked below.

What kind of trailer will you be picking up?

The one tip i can give you is when you do the final tighting of everything tighten each bolt some before tightening down and watch the alignment in the hole from the top with a second person. I had to loosen and retighten a bunch because it moved some...

@JesseM. I and a friend installed this hitch, and I used it daily for a month last year and almost every month for a 3-to-5-day trip since. I pair it with an offset gooseneck adapter on my 32' 5thwheel in a short wheelbase ford f250 Super duty. no problems with the hitch the adapter is a bit more difficult, and I had no help with it and had to install in the rain without proper tools. I would recommend this hitch with for your truck if you have someone to help install would be an easy diy . Paul

@PaulV Nice! Yea I can see how that installation would be more difficult by yourself. Always helps to have an extra pair of hands. Glad to hear you are liking your B&W hitch though. Thanks for sharing!
