Good morning Stephanie, the Demco Recon Stealth adapters do give you some built-in height adjustment, and typically it offers more height than some other fifth wheel hitthes.
The Demco Recon Stealth models like the universal # DM63UV and the vehicle specific kits like # DM54QJ, # DM82SJ, and # DM22SJ have three height settings:
16-3/4"
18"
19-1/4"
That gives you some room to fine-tune the hitch height and help level your trailer instead of being locked into one position. They’re also designed to work with 4" and 5" OEM-style 2-5/16 " gooseneck balls.
Do you know if your trailer is sitting level now, Stephanie, or are you trying to correct a nose-high or nose-low setup? Sometimes this is a good solution, while other times we can look at other areas of the trailer's setup.
