Question:

I was not able to sent you a Snip image from your page, but I could not. That is a Red Arch two pro Elite 2 axle brake controller, with a plug and play harness to a 2024 Tesla Model X

Hey Mark! Are you wanting to add the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty to your Model X? The # RED53CR has a custom wiring harness that is not designed for Tesla. Since there is no custom brake controller wiring harness available, you need to use the # RED52VR. This comes with the universal wiring harness which will splice in for installation.

What are you towing with your Tesla?

Hello Robin, I already know that the 2024 Tesla Model Y and the Tesla Model X us the same 4 pin under the dash connector. Tesla part # 1072586-00-A This 4 pin connector also has the same wire assignments for both vehicles. So you also sell your part# RED53CR which provides a plug and play connector to this 4 pin. Can I assume that this 4 pin connector mates to the Tesla part number I provided. If it does mate, can I assume I will not have to reassign the wiring? Regards, Mark Yormark

@MarkY Redarc doesn't list this as a fit for any Tesla, we don't have anything confirmed to fit either. The wiring harness that comes with that Liberty has an unslotted pin hole as well so it wouldn't be lining up with that connector you're referencing. You can try it if you want, but even if it goes together I don't know how the Tesla part is pinned. If it doesn't fit, you can always cut off the connector and still splice it, ultimately it is up to you.
