Today, on our 2014 Ram 2500, well be test fitting the Maxxtow Tow Strap Loop for 2 inch hitches, rated at 10,000 pounds, part # MT70029. Our vehicle is equipped with a 2 1/2 inch hitch, so we'll be using the Blue Ox Hitch Reducer Sleeve from a 2 1/2 inch to a 2 inch, this is part # BX88187. You can use this heavy duty hitch mounted shackle as an attachment point for strap, cable or rope, and can be used in industrial, agricultural, or recreational applications. We'll begin our test fit by simply sliding the shank of this tow strap loop into the opening of our adapter. We'll line up the 2 pin holes and then slide the adapter back into the hitch. We'll insert in a pin and secure the clipping in the side. Keep in mind that the pin and clip are sold separately. With it installed, that'll complete today's test fit of the Maxxtow Tow Strap Loop, part # MT70029, on our 2014 Ram 2500. .
