Question:

I have a 2009 Fleetwood Pulse 24D class C on a typical MB 3500 Chassis Ram at that time. I just had new Kwikee 32 series steps installed a few months ago but didnt think to ask them to replace the magnetic switch. I was working on my solar wiring and discovered one of the wires from the magnetic sensor was badly corroded. I rewired it but its not in great shape. I found two sensors on your site that look identical but one is on sale for substantially less. Whats the difference between them and will the part ending in 299 for $27 work for me? Thanks!

It sure will Johnathon and thanks for the pics! The Replacement Magnetic Door Sensor item # LC369299 is designed specifically for Kwikee series 32 steps. It comes with new magnets and a fresh wiring harness.

The more expensive one you referenced is going to operate your steps in reverse when you open and close your door so you definitely don't want it.

Are you working on a new project with your solar setup or just doing some maintenance for the upcoming season?

I have a full Victron & Rich solar system in place except for the inverter/charger. I have a new Multiplus which is being installed next week to replace an 8 year old GoPower inverter. That's my upgrade for the coming year! Thanks for the quick answer!
