Recommended White Powered Vent Fan w/a Remote

Was curious if you have this exact fan but with a white lid? Have had the Smoke before and noticed they seem to bring in more heat when my RV is parked at home. Doesnt really matter in cooler climates, but I live in AZ. lol MA00-07500K I saw a similar white, but its manual open and I dont think has the remote control. Thanks

We sure do Tyson! It's the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan, Thermostat, and Remote item # MA00-07000K.

The MaxxFan item # MA00-07000K is identical to the Smoke item # MA00-07500K you referenced. It's got a white lid that'll help deflect the Arizona sun and help keep the temps down when you're parked at home. It also comes with a remote that will allow you to adjust the speed and open the vent.

I recommend using the LaSalle Bristol XTRM 100 Self-Leveling Sealant for RVs - White item # 34427034143-1 when you're installing the fan. It'll give you an air tight water proof seal.

We have the white lid, and are pretty happy with it. Bought white because I wanted to have max skylight effect. The trim that came with the original fan, a Fantastic fan, has brads that allow an insulation cover to be attached, and we still use that trim. This allows us to use the insulation cover when we want to block incoming light.

I actually have 2, one of each color. Picked the smoke one as it better matched our small van's color, and the white one is on our 3500 van. Can't say we've ever noticed a big difference between the two. They do a good job of moving the air out to keep the retrievers comfortable. We live in the northeast about 45 miles south of Philadelphia, We get hot but no where near AZ.. HOT! Somethings I've tried. Used black perforated window wrap on the glass to reduce heating, it worked. 3500 van was ordered with factory tinted glass. Measured glass temperature of 145deg on a summer day. Covered that glass with silver car wrap and dropped glass temp by about 35deg.

I bought the MaxxFan Delux 12/v White in late October 2023. I installed this in my Rockwood A-Frame A122-S ESP pop-up camper and I have enjoyed using it. I am in Utah and I make trips to Southern Utah several times a year during the summer and having the MaxxFan running has made a huge difference and it is fairly quiet. Due to the little clearance I have once the roof panels are closed, I had to install a spacer between the roof and the MaxxFan so that I was able to close the roof and not having the fan interfere; without the spacer I was not able to close the roof because the bottom part of the fan was protruding about an inch or so. Great device, I love it and it has been very reliable. I have not noticed much issue with the heat, when not in use I cover it the opening on the inside with a reflector cover. For sealant I used the Dicor self-leveling (white), no issues with cracks, it has sealed perfectly.
