Will SumoSprings Improve Ride Quality on 2026 Nissan Frontier Pro X

Updated 03/25/2026 | Published 03/22/2026

Question:

Hi, I bought a 2026 Frontier Pro X and I travel mostly on the highway. Looking for help with suspension. Truck rides pretty badly on our horrible roads in Louisiana. Would the Bump stops give me a smoother ride. Thanks Debbie

Hey Debbie! The SumoSprings # SS96EV won't completely soften the everyday ride, but they will take the edge off those rough Louisiana roads. You’ll notice less harsh jolts over potholes and dips, and the truck will feel more controlled at highway speeds.

Basically, they will smooth out the worst impacts. These do their best work when towing or hauling, but they're a great start and will still help with everyday driving. If you’re still wanting it softer after you install them the next step would be swapping out the shocks. Your factory shocks are probably a bit stiff since they're tuned for control/off-road, which is likely part of what you’re feeling.

Are you towing or hauling with your Frontier, or mostly using it as a daily driver?

I bought those for the rear. Not having any luck finding them for my front. And Thank you for responding.

@DebbieB the rear is the most important anyway. It is possible they will make a front set at some point but I don't see anything for the 2025 either. It may not be possible for the jounce replacement based on the design, or the demand just isn't there since most people focus on the rear with towing and hauling.
