i need to know if this can be folded halfway and stay that way while driving? i need an answer quick because i bought it and then my boss asked me this question after he had already given me the go ahead.

Yes, you can fold the BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK24FR halfway and leave it that way while driving. Its designed to do exactly that. If you’re only folding it halfway, you’ll want to use the built-in buckle straps to hold those panels in place. That keeps everything from bouncing around while you’re driving.

What do you usually haul in the bed that needs the cover folded back?

long boards , and they also have a fifth wheel plate that hell want to be able get access to while still keeping other things under the cover

I bought one, and it works perfectly when I use my gooseneck trailer. I fold it halfway and strap the top panel. When I’m done with a gooseneck trailer, I can either cover the whole thing or open it all the way up.
