Question:
PK11998 - The little tab release on this product has always confounded me. In fact Ive broken more than one. What is the correct procedure to release the tab and disconnect the female side of the connector?

Hey Gordon, welcome back. There's no specific amount of pressure mentioned in the installation instructions or the manufacturer's website to release the tab on the 4' Pigtail Wiring Harness item # PK11998. I recommended using a small flat-head screwdriver to lift the locking catch while pulling the harness away from the socket.
What vehicle are you installing the item # PK11998 on?

There was a pretty good video on youtube.com, so you're off the hook. The first step is to remove the locking piece and then press the tab down to remove the connector. I'm replacing the OE on a 2020 Entegra Aspire 44b motorhome.
