Hey John! The Power Mountain Tallboy Off-Road Bottle Jack # PM94FR has a 5" cylinder stroke. The full 11-5/16" to 27" lift range comes from this plus the extensions. See the picture below.

The jack works very well on several different trailers. I have a fifth wheel that is further off the ground as well as an F450 that is higher up. On some trailers I still have to use a little blocking, but it is still way more stable. The only thing I don't care for is that there is not a handle on the side to make it easier to move around and position. I actually contacted the manufacturer about that issue and they said they would pass on the suggestion to their R&D team.
