This setup is built to take the miles without breaking a sweat. The Provider ST205/75R15 radial tire carries a 6-ply rating and a maximum load of 1,820 lbs at 50 psi, paired with a steel wheel rated for 2,160 lbs. Both meet DOT and exceed FMVSS standards, so you can tow confidently at highway speeds up to 81 mph (speed rating M) knowing the tire’s double steel belts and double polyester cords are doing the heavy lifting.
No guesswork or extra shop time needed. Each assembly is match mounted and balanced using laser-guided equipment to pinpoint the light and heavy spots of both tire and wheel. The result is a smoother ride with less vibration and wear on your trailer’s running gear. It shows up ready to install—already set up for longevity and even performance right out of the box.
Corrosion is no match for this wheel’s triple-layer protection. A zinc phosphate pre-treatment and e-coat primer sit under a black acrylic enamel top layer that resists chips and scrapes better than powder coat finishes. It’s been salt spray tested for over 1,000 hours, so it stays looking sharp even after seasons on wet roads.
The Provider radial tread design channels water away from the contact patch thanks to broken tread ribs and fine sipes cut into the rubber. That means better traction when things get wet, snowy, or icy. A nylon tread-firming belt overlay keeps the layers tight and helps prevent tread separation, while bake testing ensures the rubber holds its shape over time.

Flat on the shoulder? The included Platinum Plus warranty covers emergency tire changes for two years—24 hours a day, seven days a week—along with other protection benefits. It’s built-in assurance that matches the durability of the assembly itself, so you can stay focused on getting where you’re going.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at this Provider ST205/75R15 load range C radial trailer tire with this 15-inch black Vesper mod wheel with a five on five-inch bolt pattern. This tire and wheel assembly is going to be great for stock trailers, utility trailers and campers. And this special trailer tire, or ST tire, has sturdy sidewalls so that it can handle heavy loads and it is created specifically for trailers and not intended for use on other vehicles. Now this assembly features the tire match-mounted and balanced to the wheel for ride comfort and durability. The match-mounting of tires and wheels is a process in which the tire installation position on the wheel is specifically selected to help minimize the final force of imbalance. The method of match-mounting involves aligning the tires' lightest spot with the wheels' heaviest spot to eliminate most of the radial force that can cause tire and suspension wear.
Then a final balance is done by applying weights to specific spots on the wheel to eliminate any chance of uneven wear or vibration. This radial tire is constructed with double steel belts and double polyester cords for a long life. Now as you probably know, radial-ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The cords on a radial tire are positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel so that they lay across the width of the tire from wheel lip to wheel lip. This construction prevents the cords from rubbing against one another when the tire flexes, unlike the cords on a bias-ply tire.
So as a result, radial tires have less rolling resistance and heat buildup, which leads to a longer tread life and improved steering at higher speeds. The nylon tread-firming belt overlays are going to help prevent tread separation. The tread bars offer a quick visual indicator of tread wear and this tire is bake-tested to ensure that the rubber holds up over time and the automotive-grade tread has sipes that is going to channel water away from the tire to help improve traction during wet, snowy, or icy conditions. The tread depth on this tire is 10/32 of an inch and as I mentioned earlier and as we have stamped on our tire here, this is an ST205/75R15. The section width of this tire is 7.99 inches and the outer diameter when fully inflated is 27.13 inches.
This is a load range C tire, meaning that it has a six-ply rating and the maximum load is 1,820 pounds at 50 psi. And this does have a speed rating of M, indicating a maximum speed of 81 miles per hour. Now this Vesper wheel is a steel wheel with this modular design and that modular design describes these circles that go around this wheel giving that attractive look to it. And this is sturdy and corrosion-resistant and this black acrylic enamel finish is going to help resist chipping and other damage better than powder coat finishes. And this finish is applied after a zinc phosphate pre-treatment and covers an e-coat primer layer, so it has excellent corrosion resistance with a salt spray rating of more than 1000 hours.
The stud holes on this steel wheel are beveled to ensure that the wheel stays tight against your trailer hub and that's also going to eliminate the need to constantly re-torque the log nuts. The rim dimensions, looking at the diameter from bead seat to bead seat is 15 inches, and the width of this rim is five inches. And as I mentioned, our bolt pattern is five on five inches. And in case you don't know, the first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes and the second number is the diameter in inches of the circle on which the bolt holes sit. So to determine the bolt circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes as we have here, you're simply going to measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. So for an example, our five on five inch bolt pattern means five bolt holes with five inches measured to a point halfway between the opposite bolt holes. The wheel capacity is 2,160 pounds. The wheel stud size is a half an inch by 20. The center cap is sold separately, but if you decide to pick one up, you just wanna make sure that it matches the fits the pilot diameter of 3.19 inches. Now this tire and wheel assembly does meet the Department of Transportation specifications and the tire exceeds the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards specifications. And this does feature a two year Platinum Plus warranty which includes emergency tire chains service and other benefits. Well, that's going to conclude our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Very nice product. Fast shipping and c ommunication
Arrived much sooner than expected. It was also balanced. Most places don’t bother to balance a trailer tire. My particular setup was very difficult to find anywhere but etrailer had it. It also arrived boxed to prevent damage during shipping. Very happy with this purchase.
Great transaction! Good price, fast shipping, nice packing and tire had new date code. Thanks etrailer .
Good communication from etrailer. I ordered from the site because of an expected delivery date, but in reality it came almost a week later. Frustrating, but the product was as advertised.
