Looking for Galvanized Trailer Fender that is Close to 27.5 inch in Length

Updated 04/14/2026 | Published 02/28/2026

Question:

I have a scout boat that I need to replace the trailer fenders that look like theyre about 27.5 inches wide at the bottom and 9 inches across the top. Do you carry anything in that size in galvanized steel?

Hey Elden, we don't have an extensive galvanized fender selection but we do have the part # TD95VR which is pretty close to what you mentioned as it is 8" tall x 27-1/2" long x 11" wide. It's a little wider than what you mentioned but typically that's not an issue. Would that work?

Possibly. Biggest concern is the clearance I'd get once installed. I purchased from another place a few months ago and have only about inch and a half between top of tire and fender. Which does not seem enough so I haven't been able to put it on the road.

@Elden could the fender bracket be raised up so clearance is better?

@JamesonC not really. It is a fixed galvanized step on both sides of fender. Which is drill holes to affix fender to trailer. Looking at the description this one might go up a little higher than the one that I have so I ordered it. I imagine if it doesn't work I can return it as long as I don't drill holes in it.
