Looking for Replacement 5 Lug Hub with Bearings L44649 Pre Greased

Updated 02/25/2026 | Published 02/21/2026

Question:

I need help finding a full hub assembly - pre packed bearings and simply ready to install. I’m replacing TDE hub Part 11029 It’s a straight spindle 1 1/16”. Both the front and rear bearing is L44649 5 lug by 4.5 inch What pre greased wheel hub kit do you recommend. It’s for an old jet ski trailer that has been converted to a kayak trailer. Kayak is 75 lbs.

Hey Steve, we have just what you are looking for with the Easy Grease idler hub part # AKIHUB-545-2-LF-2K. This matches the bolt pattern and bearings your hub has and also is pre-greased! How many kayaks do you fit on the trailer?

Thanks - two follow up questions 1) I’m using 12” wheels - this assembly indicates for a 13-15” wheel. 2) My inner grease seal has an ID of 1.25 vs this assembly has a 1.50” ID. Does that additional information change your recommendation? Thanks Steve

@SteveW Good catch. That's odd it has that wheel size restriction but you could use the part # AKIHUB-545-2-EZ-2K instead which is 12 inch wheel compatible. Are you absolutely sure that's your grease seal diameter? That wouldn't be a standard size and we wouldn't have a solution based on that.

@JamesonC Would CE Smith part #CE13311 work? It appears to fit 12 inch wheels 1.06 straight spindle inner and outer bearing and has a 1.25” inner grease seal. Appreciate your thoughts

@SteveW Yes it would actually. Sorry I didn't find that for you but yes the part # CE13311 is correct. I oftentimes forget we have that hub due to how rare it's correct fit but I am glad you found it!
