Comparing Stromberg Carlson Trailer Tray Cargo Carriers for A-Frame Trailers

Question:

Whats the difference between a cc250 and cc255? I dont have anywhere to mount a generator in or on my RV. I have a Montana Mountaineer 335RLBS. Its very heavy trailer, Im using 1700LB trunion bars with two sway bars. Still not enough control at times and not much ground clearance. Thanks for your help

This is just a case of an updated item. They are basically the same. The Trailer Tray Cargo Carrier # CC-255 replaced the CC-250 which was phased out. Otherwise they are identical. There have been only minor design changes otherwise they function the same and have the same measurements and install the same way.

If the current weight distribution system is inadequate for the trailer tongue weight you might consider the Blue Ox Sway Pro system # BXW2000 rated for 2,000 pounds tongue weight. And it includes built-in sway control. I have linked the installation details for you.
