Good morning Brian, you’re good to go either way. The Redarc Tow-Pro Link # RED57AR is compatible with both standard electric brakes and electric-over-hydraulic EOH braking systems on 12-volt trailers. It supports setups with up to 4 axles 8 brake assemblies, which covers most travel trailers, toy haulers, and off-road campers.

What trailer are you running now? I can check into it to see what setup you have just so you know for the future. If it is a standard single or dual axle utility trailer or car hauler, it most likely has standard electric brakes.
