What would I need to completely outfit and install all the components to fit a 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee using the Knight Hawk Tow bar system? Where can I get this installed?

Hey Bruce, we can help with everything you'll need to flat tow your 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a Nighthawk tow bar part # RM-677. First thing you need is the correct base plate kit. If you have a Summit model you'll need part # RM97NQ, if your Cherokee has no tow hooks but has lower air shutters part # RM75GR, if you have tow hooks and no air shutters part # RM77ZR, or without tow hooks and no lower air shutters part # RM76RR.
For lighting/safety cables, locks, and covers for the tow bar we have the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain kit part # RM-9243-1 which comes with all of that as one part number. The diode kit that comes with this allows you to splice into the taillight wiring so that your RV controls the vehicle taillights and does not require drilling into the taillight housings. This comes with a round 6-way connector that you will install on the front of your towed vehicle and enough coiled wire to go from there to the RV.
And finally, most states now require supplemental braking in the vehicle being flat towed. The easiest system to set up and use is the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR, that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.

I really like the night hawk roadmaster tow bar I have. The side lights are very useful and help with viewing a night with the rear camera. It folds and stays put next to the tow vehicle bumper. Be sure to tie the wires and cables up so they wont drag when not towing. I got some road rash. I keep a bungee cord close by. If your tow vehicle hitch is low to the ground, make sure the coiled wiring cable is on top of the tow bar so it won't drag when going into service stations and parking lots. My experience. I'm not sure the accessory kit is the best. All you need is a wiring adapter for the lights. Most tow vehicles ( mine is a Ford E-450) Have combined brake and signal lights. Most imports have separate brake, signal and parking lights making it more difficult or an expensive adapter. I previously towed a Hyundai Veloster 6 Speed and I drilled holes and installed another set of LED bulbs in Flush mount holders in the tail light assembly. Note, Pressurizing the tail light lens slightly with a hair dryer on cold helps to keep cuttings out of the assembly. Very simple and the wiring I used was a boat trailer kit. All from Amazon. About $50 total. I recently upgraded to a Honda flat towable CRV and I did the same for the lights. Took two hours. Most base plates come with the Female wiring connector as my Blue Ox did. I see many people using the Blue OX brake kit. I found a nearly new on on Facebook for less than half. Good Luck! Make suer your jeep is flat towable. Some are not.
