I'm going to mount it on the rear bumper of my travel trailer to store my WHD hitch when its off my truck. My bumper is 4 1/4" so this should work perfectly with a long u-bolt. What do you think about that?

@RobO sounds like a clever idea to me. I saw you looked at the MORryde EzStor Lite # MR72ZV so I thought it might be something like that. Too bad they don't have a 2-1/2" version yet.

@RobO the # BP82FR has the following mounting hole spacing: Vertical: 3-1/2" apart on center Horizontal: 3-3/8" apart on center
