The bracket installs without tools and lifts off just as easily. It's made for storage, not the road, so be sure to remove it before towing. Leaving it in place could damage your trailer frame or hitch components once you're rolling.
I like the product idea and am currently using this on my camper.
So my main issue with this product is that it stores the drawbar in a vertical orientation (rather than horizontal or side loading) which requires hoisting the drawbar well above the height of the bracket sitting on the front A Frame and then lowering and guiding it into the bracket opening in one motion.
My problem is that I have a W/D Hitch Drawbar with an extended shank - about 20" in length and maybe 60-70 lbs - and it is getting to be quite a chore at 65 years old to hoist up that much weight high enough to drop it in the slot - it is also hard on the back.
If you have a lighter weight drawbar then yes - this is a good product and worth it.
This thing is a lifesaver. Pops right on the tongue. I put my trailer hitch and sway bars on it. Wrap them with a cable lock. I got a small bbq cover to go around the setup and it stays clean and dry and out of the way.
Fast easy process. Impressed with the detailed order process and tracking information. Storage bracket is exactly what I needed...nice simple design.
Product is sturdy and works as advertised, I think making it to bolt on permanently would be an improvement.
