Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Curt wall mount for your two and a half inch hitch accessories. Has a 350 pound weight capacity. Now, this mount here will keep your hitch mounted accessories off the floor and frees up more space in your garage using this wall mount. Basically, the wall bracket will store a 2 1/2 inch by 2 1/2 hitch accessory when it's not being used. Can also be used for a 1 1/4 inch or two inch accessory if it's mounted in the vertical position.
You don't wanna put it into horizontal position. If it's a smaller than 2 1/2 it'll fit in here. Just to show you, I happen to have a two inch ball mount, you can see right here. And that's designed to store just like that. And then you can put your pin in there to hold it into place.
This will keep your accessories off the floor, for gives you added room. It's great for storing a cargo carrier, a bike rack, a ball mount, a tow bar, even other accessories. As we mentioned, has the horizontal and the vertical openings. This'll let you mount the accessory in either orientation. And again, just to reiterate, if it's a smaller than 2 1/2 inch accessory, then you only wanna put it in the vertical position.
This will mount to any wall surface. It has the included lag bolts. And you can see the face plate is very narrow, so it allows for installation on a two by four stud. This is a durable steel construction, has an A coat and then a black powder coat finish. And again, it's tested and rated up to 350 pounds.

Quality made. does exactly what you need it to clean and simple. I have 2 and of course I never shop anywhere but etrailer.com for any of my truck and trailer needs.
The product was fine and shipped in a timely manner but it did not include the mounting bolts or washers. I spoke with customer service and they wanted me to ship the mount back to them and they'd reship a new one. I wouldn't have to pay for it but it seemed ridiculous to go to all that effort when they could just send the bolts and washers. I'll just go buy the bolts and washers. Disappointed that they sent the product incomplete and they were not flexible enough to fix the problem efficiently.

This Curt wall mount for 2 inch hitch accessories does exactly what I needed it to do. I bought it to get my Kuat bike rack up off the floor and out of the way in my garage, and it works great. It feels solid and holds the weight without any issues. Installation was straightforward, and once mounted, it keeps the rack secure and organized. Simple product, but very effective.

I have a hitch box and hitch bike rack that take up a lot of space in the garage. I didn't know these things existed. I'm glad they do as it made a huge difference in getting them off the garage floor.
My wife and I have two road bikes, mountain bikes and ebikes. So we had two different bike racks sitting on the floor in the garage. I bought two of these wall mount hitches. They are great for storing 2" bike/ebike racks off the floor and out of the way.
They are sturdy well made ... install very easily. Just find a wall stud, drill a 1/8" pilot hole and screw in the 7mm hex head lag bolts.
