Can Base Of Power Mountain Tallboy Off-Road Bottle Jack Be Removed For Storage
Updated 01/29/2026 | Published 01/25/2026 >
Question:
I am wondering if the steel base is removable for better storage? I see two screws with allen heads going into the plate, so I believe it is?

Hey Steve! Yes, you can remove the base from the Power Mountain Tallboy Off-Road Bottle Jack # PM34FR. Unscrewing those two bolts will allow you to detach the base for storage.
What will you be using the jack for?

I'll be storing it in a 2026 toyota tundra. I've used the OEM jacks before and they have fallen over on me during jacking. I think this will be not only taller, but more stable.
