Will Torklift Hitch for F-250 Allow 37 inch Spare to Fit

Question:

Will this accommodate a 37” spare tire in the factory location?

Hey Jimmy, the factory size for the spares of your 2024 Ford F-250 are a few inches smaller than a 37 inch spare so the Torklift hitch part # TL27CR was never tested for a spare that size. I looked up some videos of people trying to fit 37 inch spare on F-250s and based on how tight it is I wouldn't think it would fit. Are you able to fit it currently?

Not comfortably and I don’t want to spend $3300 for a Carli Trophy Hitch….

@Jimmy I'd never heard of that hitch but looked it up after you mentioned it and holy crap that's an expensive hitch!

This hitch extension works great for adding length out to the ball for campers that extend past the truck bed. It is stable and heavy duty. I pull a 6,000 lb boat behind my camper with it. You will need to add their receiver hitch to it which is a fairly major installation project, but wirth the effort.

I replaced the original single receiver hitch on my 2023 Ford F350 dually in order to attach a 48” extension under our Lance 1191 in bed camper. It lowered the towing capability from 35,000 lbs to 30,000 lbs maximum. It is a two person installation unless you had some jacks that you could brace the original receiver on when removing and to lift the dual receiver into place. They’re both pretty heavy. We have towed a 4x8’ enclosed trailer, flat towed our Jeep, and looking at towing a car in an enclosed 20’ ATC trailer, although this would be after adding stabilizer and equalizer bars. Great build quality and excellent instructions.
