Hi Clayton; there are several ways to do this. If you want to leave the sidewinder on your 5th wheel you're going to have to lock it out so it doesn't rotate anymore. This will allow you to use an adapter like the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter # CAB-C5G.

The other option is to completely replace the pin box with one like the MORryde GooseTech 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # MR37MV. This particular pin box fits a Lippert 1621 bolt pattern and trailers with an 11,501-lb - 14,000-lb GVWR. If you can tell me your pin box bolt pattern and the GVWR of your trailer I can help you find the right replacement.

What makes you want to switch to a gooseneck setup?

I had this on my camper for 4 to 5 years, works great. We have a shorter camper and even pull a boat with our camper at least twice a year with no problems. Like the ease of hook up and disconnect. Installation would be helpful to have two people to help and use tailgate of bed to help support while attaching to trailer.

it works really well and I don't have to store a 5th wheel hitch or take up room in my bed either.
