Question:
Hi, I have a 26 Chevy Silverado 1500 with the max tow package. My particular truck is rated for towing 13000 lbs. I hooked my 7100 lb trailer up for the first time. The truck did pretty well on a 30 mile test drive. My rear wheel well height ped by 1.5 inches, and the front ped by about .75 inches. The front wheel well is now about .75 inches higher than the rear. Is that acceptable? I use the E2 weight distribution system. Thanks

Hey Tim, thanks for reaching out!
The .75" sag you're seeing is acceptable, that will not have much of an effect on drive quality at all. If you'd like to totally level out your ride, then add the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs # AL88288. Along with getting rid of your sag, they will help improve ride quality big time when you're driving on bumpy roads or cornering.
What trailer are you towing?

Hey Tim, I have a 2025 GMC sierra 1500 with max tow package, that I bought this kit for. After installing it. I measured from floor to wheel well unloaded then hooker up my RV travel trailer. I then added air util I was close to height empty. For me it was 50 lbs. with a 760 tongue weight. I actually had it even with the measurements for the front, we are well to level out the truck.

It's a Brinkley I235. It's a pretty heavy trailer for its length. The dry weight is 7100 lbs. They list it as having a 650 lb. tongue weight, but it's probably without any propane tanks, batteries, or gear. The front actually went up by .75 inches vs. dropping. Sorry about that mistake.
