How Many Axles Can a Brake Actuator Work With

That's a great question. Actuators like part # T4500600 are designed based off capacity and not the amount of axles a trailer has. The actuator is rated for 7,500 lbs. regardless if its 1 or 2 axles equaling that weight.

The most important thing about actuators, other than weight capacity, is what type of brakes they are for. Part # T4500600 will work with drum brakes. You can't use an actuator rated for drum brakes on a trailer that's equipped with disc and vice versa. Each type style of brake needs a different PSI rating to function properly.
