Question:
How accurate is the location tracking?
asked by: Steve
Expert Reply:
Steve, when GPS signal is available, all three models provide accurate outdoor tracking. The 5000 ping model # PM74FR and 3000 ping model # PM84FR add WiFi-based positioning when GPS and cell tower isn’t available, while the standard 5000 ping model # PM64FR uses GPS and cellular tower only and doesn't ping off wifi signals.
You’ll always see whether the trailer is parked or moving, along with direction and speed during motion. You can also use their app to track maintenance intervals on your trailer/vehicles. Do you have a fleet of vehicles or trailers?
