Question:
I store my utility trailer at a fenced lot but theft is still a concern. Someone reported a unit being taken awhile back. Will this alert me right away if someone moves it? Or is it not going to help that much?

Kevin, that’s exactly what these PingMaster trailer trackers are built for. All three models - the PingMaster 3000 w/ WiFi Backup # PM84FR and both PingMaster 5000 versions # PM64FR and # PM74FR - use motion-sensing alerts that notify you the moment the trailer starts moving, not hours later. Once movement is detected, they automatically shift into faster tracking so you can see where it’s headed in real time from your phone.
If your trailer ever gets repositioned legitimately, you can arm or disarm alerts right from the app. I also like the fact that you can use it to track maintenance intervals since it tracks mileage and time etc. Where do you usually keep the trailer - outdoors or inside a building?

It’s stored outside full-time, but the lot is shared with other trailers and equipment, so there’s a lot of activity around it.
