Does the cord have to be unspooled before use or can it remain plugged in and partially reeled out?

Hey Ben, the MORryde Easy Reel Spooler # MR47RR that you referenced is not designed to be used like that unfortunately. You would put one end of the cord into the middle of the spool and then reel it all up when not in use. What that means is that you can't access the other end at all if it's on the reel so it has to totally come off of it.
