Does the MORryde Easy Reel Spooler Work w/a Hardwired Power Cord?

Question:

I was looking at the Morehyde sp? Automatic power cord spooling reel. However, the video shows it being used for removable cords instructor said, put one end of cord in the reel and tighten until wound up. However, I have a Class A National brand motorhome where the shore power cord is Installed does not unplug from rig. I am shopping for a retrofit solution that will keep the source end wired as it is but that point allow a cord reel. Is there a product for that? Thanks!

Hey Michele. The MORryde Easy Reel Spooler item # MR47RR, you were looking at, can be used with a hardwired cord. I've attached a screenshot from the instructions that shows you how to do it. I've also linked the entire user manual below.

The MORryde Easy Reel Spooler item # MR47RR measures 21" long x 10-1/2" wide x 17-5/8" tall and works with up to a 50' long cord.

How long is your cord?
