Hi. I am looking to upgrade my 2020 Momentum 362 from 7 k to 8 k suspension. Looking at the Roadmaster slipper springs. Looking for axles that I can use my current wheels on

Hey Darrel. The Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shocks item # RM-2460-2580 is without a doubt the best upgrade you can make to your Grand Design's suspension system. It's going to come with everything you need to swap out your current leaf springs, shackles/wet bolts, and equalizers.

In order to recommend a replacement axle I am going to need a couple of measurements off of one of your current ones. There's no database that shows what parts are on your 2020 Grand Design Momentum 362. I'll need to know your hub face and spring seat distance.

Just confirming because I wouldn't want to swap out wheels either. Does your Grand Design Momentum have a 8 on 6-1/2" lug nut pattern?

I did also did the roadmaster comfort ride with shocks and upgraded the slipper springs from 7k to 8k. I have been extremely happy with ride. I also did the xfactor cross braces and centramatic wheel balancers and the Gen Y executive gooseneck. All this combined has made for a much better ride and increased stability.

I installed on my Z3110 Brinkley about a year ago or so and add moryde x bracing. We have traveled about 12000 miles and no issues. It is a great upgrade also nothing has rattled lose while traveling. We also installed the gen-y excitive pin box.

I upgraded to the 8k system on my Grand Design Solitude. I installed it myself and wasn’t difficult at all even though I am 70 years old. I haven’t started on my trip to Florida yet but I am excited to find out how it does. Be sure to get longer u-bolts because the springs are thicker.

I had to buy new u-bolts when I bought my leaf spring upgrade. The suspension from grand design will fail, so it was the best thing I ever did to my 2021. It lifted my RV at least 2 inches because the original springs were so weak. I noticed so many people were having issues with Lipitor suspension springs breaking I even installed Sumo spring support to help and prolong the original suspension, but I still had a spring break. This suspension system was a great addition to RV and made my towing experience safer with a peace of mind.
