This vent clears out the muggy air that builds up after a shower or while cooking. The built-in 12V DC fan moves air out fast, keeping things from feeling damp or stuffy. When closed, it can also circulate air like a ceiling fan, helping your space stay cooler and more comfortable.
Forget about batteries or misplaced remotes. The vent opens with a manual knob, and the twin lift arms hold the dome steady once it’s open. A built-in lock keeps the lid secure so it won’t move around while you’re driving or during windy conditions.
The polar white dome sits flush against the roof when closed, giving it a neat, low-profile look. The seamless design blends in without drawing attention, keeping your setup looking clean and finished.
This vent drops right into a standard 14" wide x 14" long opening, making it easy to replace an old or damaged unit. It comes with a 6" trim ring for a complete, finished fit, and the simple bolt-on install means you can get it mounted and ready to use right away.

Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at this Furrion RV roof vent with 12 volt fan and a manual lift. Now, that's a polar white color. As you can see, the dome here, or lid has a seamless low profile, and that's gonna give you a nice appearance whenever it's closed. So the air becoming this way, up and over giving it a nice streamlined thing.
Now, roof vents, as you know, especially with the fan, are gonna move air up and out of the RV, or camper, or enclosed trailer, and they're gonna also circulate air inside, like a ceiling fan, when the vent is closed. Now you're gonna have two manual lifting arms that support the dome on this particular one. I'm gonna pull it apart. So as you know, you're gonna have a shroud, or a trim ring, as it's called. And this one has, molded in the sides, I dunno if you can see it 'cause it's all white, but it has all the way from two inch up to six and 1/2 inch, in half-inch increments, to kind of show you the height and everything, and that's gonna be a nice addition to the whole assembly.
And then, of course, you've got your whole roof vent assembly here. So zooming in, you can see you've got the screen, and I'll start with that. You can simply take the screen off if you ever need a cleaner by simply rotating it to the left, just like the arrow shows, bare with me here. It's a lot easier when it's installed, then it's not moving. There we go.
And it just pops right out. So it's got these plastic grooves on it that line up in the slots here. So once I've got it clean, I can simply line those back up, rotate the correct way, lock it in place. I've got the fan buttons on and off, and tucked in here right now, before it's installed, is your wires here. So you're gonna have wires here, and you're gonna get included connections for the wire along with your instructions and installation screws.
You're gonna get your sealant for sealing it up on the roof, and your butyl tape. Now, if you wanna know how to install this and you're not sure, you've never done it, we got lots of videos here on our website as far as doing that. This manual, that's the manual to open and close the dome lid. I'm gonna show you here in a second, you have to pull it down, 'cause remember this would be flipped over, pull it down to operate it. Now once I've got it down, I can simply, with one or two fingers, literally open it in a couple seconds, and it's gonna lock open. So right there, it's locked open. And if I tilt this, you can kind of see the motor inside for the fan, and both of those black arms. Now, to get it down, I have to pull down on that knob again that you saw on the underside, and then I can simply rotate it the opposite way to close it. So, pretty easy to operate, and also pretty easy to install, honestly. Like I said, we've got videos of our techs doing this. It's really not too bad. Just follow the instructions, watch one of our videos, and I think you'll be really, really surprised how easy it is. Now, this does fit a 14 by 14 inch opening on your roof, so make sure you have that same size to match this up. Well folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look together. I wanna thank you for your time, and as always, please, once you get this installed, feel free to share some photos, videos, reviews with us here at etrailer.com so we can make things better if we need to, fix any issues you might come across, and answer any questions you might have. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
