Torklift Camper Tie Down Recommendation for 2022 Ford F-350 Long Bed with Factory Hitch

Published 12/18/2025

Question:

I am taking delivery of a 2022 Ford F350 XL, 4WD, 8’ box, factory installed hitch, after market running board which extends to back of cab. I need both the front and rear Torklift tie downs for my slide in truck camper. What is the correct part numbers for both steel and/or aluminum as available? Thanks.

Hey Tony, thanks for all of the details on you new truck! Based on that the correct Torklift tie down sets you'd need are the part # TL87DR for steel or part # TL85SV for the aluminum set. Do you need a set of turnbuckles too? What camper do you have?

I already have the Torklift fastguns that I’m using with a 2024 Host Mammoth being toted by a 2014 Ram 3500 dually. I’m purchasing a PU with higher payload capacity for the same camper. That being said, do you know the weights of the 2 part #s?

@TonyN The steel set weighs 73 lbs and the aluminum weighs 66 lbs so not a crazy difference in weight.
