Question:
2018 Jayco Jayflight SLX 265RLS. The power converter needs to be replaced. Model WF-1835-P. Do you have the exact replacement for this? I would prefer only the converter but I need to be sure it is the exact fit. I am including a photo before it is removed from the breaker panel. If necessary, I will replace the entire panel. I do not want to have to enlarge the existing hole to make it fit. Thank you!

Hey Danny, thanks for the pictures. The only replacement option I have for your WFCO WF-1835-P is the Progressive Dynamics 4000 Series Mini RV Converter w/ Charge Wizard and AC/DC Distribution Panel item # PD4045KA. I don't have a way to replace just your converter.
The Progressive Dynamics item # PD4045KA is a compact, all-in-one 45 Amp RV power center featuring a 120V AC distribution panel and a smart converter with Charge Wizard technology. It is compatible with lead-acid and lithium batteries, it will give you reverse battery protection, electronic current limiting, and protection against high/low AC input.
Please note that the Progressive Dynamics item # PD4045KA measures 12-1/4" long x 8-3/4" tall x 7-1/4" deep so you're going to have to enlarge the existing hole. There's no option that's an exact fit. It includes multiple DC fuse holders and a variable-speed cooling fan.
Are you upgrading to a lithium battery setup or did your converter go out?

I recently replaced the power converter in a Little Guys teardrop trailer with this Progressive Dynamics model. I’ve got to say that it works great and I am very happy with it. I also could not find a replacement that was the exact size. I had to cut about 3/4” off the top and about an 1” off the side of the recess the unit fits in to. I had plenty of depth space. It was easy to make clean cuts with a jigsaw and some well marked guide lines. The cut areas is not seen after installation because the power converter has a lip around the panel. A tip I may suggest is to wire it up completely and test it before making the cuts. It’s an extra step, but made me feel confident about making the cuts. It’s operation is absolutely silent. My old power converter would hum before it broke. I had to buy an additional breaker because the AC input circuit also requires a breaker in addition to all the output AC circuits. I actually like that. You have a single cutoff if you trip that breaker. I use the lead acid mode, but I was happy that this can easily be switched to lithium if I decide to change the battery. It also works well charging from the 12V car connection while driving. There are plenty of 12V output circuits with fuse. All breakers and fuses are easily accessible from the front panel.

The converter has gone out. My unit is a 30 amp. I don’t think the 45 amp unit will work. Thank you!
