On 30 Amp Trailer Is There Benefit To Using 40 Amp Converter and Lithium Battery Charger

Question:

My trailer is 30 amps and if I install lithium batteries and a charger/converter, does the converter have to be 30 amps or could be 40+ amps for better efficiency ? Thank you

On a 30 amp trailer with lithium batteries you will want to stick with the Progressive Dynamics 9300 Series RV Converter Charger # PD49RR.

Only the amperage output is higher on the 40 amp converter; the efficiency is exactly the same for both.
