Hey Jeff, thanks for reaching out. We can definitely help with that. For your 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali with the 3.0 Diesel and factory dual exhaust, we do have an air bag kit that will fit perfectly without interfering with the exhaust routing. For that you will need the following:

- Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers - Rear Axle # AL88288

This kit provides up to 5000 pounds of load leveling support, helps reduce squat when towing or hauling and improves stability. The built in jounce bumpers give added protection even when running lower air pressures. It is a great option for maintaining a smooth, level ride on the Denali, and it is fully compatible with the dual exhaust setup.

You also have the option of adding an onboard compressor, and for that I recommend the Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System # AL25980. Its Bluetooth compatible so you can monitor and fill the bags using a smartphone. Definitely a worthwhile investment if you will be towing frequently.

What kind of trailer will you be hauling?

I installed the AL88288 on my 2023 Silverado with the 3.0L Durmax Diesel summer of 2025. I had no issues with the install.

Jesse, I purchased this to minimize the bounce that I was getting when pulling my 31ft camper with my 22 Chevy Silverado. I have to say that they are working for me. They've made a big difference. I run 55lbs of air when pulling the trailer and 10lbs when not. Over a year and no issues.

@SamM Nice yea air bags can definitely help limit any excessive suspension movement. Glad to hear they made such a noticeable difference! Thanks for taking the time to share!

I installed on a 2024 Sierra 1500 SLT 3.0 with the max tow option, with single exhaust. My ride was already stiffer due to the max tow package, but these bags are great! I opted to not do the onboard compressor and instead bought one of those battery operated digital air compressors on Amazon for $30.00. I routed the airline to come out one of the license plate bolts and the small compressor airs everything up quickly. Towing is much improved with these bags. I had to do a bit of grinding of one of the metal plate covers on the axle (non-structural) to make it fit snugly.

@John Hey John, this is great feedback! Honestly I do the same thing with my car I just carry a cheap tire inflator I got for like 50$. It does the job just fine. Glad to hear the air bags are working out for you! Thanks for taking the time to share!

I found the airbag kit pretty easy to install. The instructions were pretty good too. There could have been a little more clarity in the photos or explanation as far as left or right side alignment. The bags work perfect for trailering anything from a lightweight flatbed to a heavy triple axle boat and trailer combo for just around town towing, due to its combination weight. I installed a double schrader valve on the rear, and then later t'd them together to keep the bags balanced with air. I bought a handheld air compressor off of amazon, which does everything that needs to be done to air it up and bleed it down. The ride unloaded with minimal air is a little firmer, compared to the stock ride, which is too soft to begin with. Good luck

I b used them on my 24 Silverado 1500 and love them. I did not get the compressor and use a Milwaukee portable compressor to fill which works great but you have to play with it a bit to get the right pressure but it's a lot cheaper than buying the installed compressor so I don't mind.
