Are The New etrailer Ratchet Straps Easy To Use And Release Under Tension?

Question:
Are the ratchets on these kits pretty easy to release? My old straps jam all the time, especially when they get dusty. I was looking at these kits that have 4 straps in a bag: Flat Hooks Kit e72SV OR Double-J Hooks e42SV OR S-Hooks e92NR

Trevor, all three of these etrailer kits use the same large, easy-to-grip ratchet handle, so the release action is consistent across the flat-hook # e72SV, double-J # e42SV, and S-hook # e92NR ratchet strap sets. They all use the same updated design, which still needs a little finesse now and then - that’s just the nature of ratchets - but they release much smoother than older, tighter mechanisms, even after you’ve really cranked them down.
If your current straps gum up when they get dusty, you’ll notice a big improvement with any of these three kits.
Do you usually keep your straps stored in a bag, Trevor, or are they bouncing around loose in the trailer?
