Question:
Hello. Im looking to make my own brackets to mount these new Maxtrax LITE boards in a particular location. What is the dimension CENTER TO CENTER between the mounting holes on these boards? Can I have the width dimension between the mounting holes center to center and the length dimension between the mounting holes center to center? Also, what is the diameter of the holes that need to be drilled to mount the mounting studs?

Expert Reply:
According to Maxtrax, the mounting holes on the # MA24ZV are 10" on center across the width of the board and 25" lengthwise. All of the mounting pins like # MA48PR use M10 bolts so you will need to drill an appropriate hole based on the type of mounting surface.
I attached a link to all of the mounting hardware below for your reference.

I'm looking to drill holes in my Max Track Lite boards to make the holes line up with the mounting system I already purchased. How can I be sure I'm not compromising the strength and durability of the boards by adding extra holes?
