Question:

Good morning. I currently own a 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 trail boss, short bed. I am looking to get the BandW Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches Part Number: BWRVK2504. I was wondering if you sell just the rails without the hitch for my truck. I see you have the combination rails and hitch. I only need the rails. Thank you for your time. Matt Engle

Hey, Matthew!

Thanks for reaching out. We do sell just the rail by themselves, it'll be part # BWRVR3210. This will be just for the rails, it won't come with any hardware at all. The only way to get the hardware to connect the rails to the brackets would be to get the full kit for your 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, which is part # BWRVK2504 that you mentioned.

Thank you for the response. So if I need the rails and hardware the BWRVK2504 would fit my 24 Chevy 1500 short bed? Originally when I looked at that part it said it doesn’t fit my truck. But if I was incorrect, and it does, can you please confirm if it will. Thank you Matt

@MatthewE Correct, part # BWRVK2504 is a confirmed fit for the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 short and long bed trucks. Just double checked I had the right part number.

@MattE we installed this kit on my sons 2021 Chevrolet silverado Trail Boss short box it fit perfectly. We followed their instructions. You will definitely need a slide hitch or use extreme caution and remain fully alert on tight turn other you will contact the cab if you don't. Otherwise the kit is great and intall took about 1hr 50 minutes start to finished, recommending leave bolts loose but snug until everything's aligned.
