Will Draw-Tite Front Hitch Fit 2026 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4

Question:
Many blogs say the Draw-tight DT44HR HITCH will work for the 2025 GMC AT4 gas but some mods are required. Any reason this same hitch wouldn’t for a 2026 gmc 1500 at4 gas. I need a front hitch for a snow sport snowplow.

Hi Tyler; as far as I know there are no significant changes on the 2026 over the 2025, and the Curt hitch (which doesn't fit the AT4) carried over to 2026 as well. We have had some customers successfully install the # DT44HR on the 2025 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 so I know it can be done. Although I can't guarantee fitment without some kind of confirmation, I don't see any reason why this wouldn't be able to be installed on your 2026 AT4 so you can use your snow plow.

So the DT44HR was a great fit on my 2026 gmc 1500 At4 6.2 gas Guys at Maxwell trailers had no issues. There were 4 extra bolts to remove to get it on with required slight trimming. Not sure if it was on the hitch itself or underbody of truck. Regardless this DT44HR needs to be updated to fit these AT4’s and ZR2 chevys. Thanks for the input and Juan for his post. The guys at the shop said those replies were helpful at install. Can’t want to use it. Let it snow!
