Hello Russell. The Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch # DT44HR will fit the 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4. Unlike the Curt # C22NR that you were looking at, the Draw-Tite hitch is confirmed to fit AT4 and Diesel models.

Jesse, did the DT44HR actually fit Russell's truck? I have the same model but when I called to order, I was told that the #DT44HR is not a confirmed fit from one of your employees.

@Rodney We never heard back so I am not sure what ended up happening here. I don't see that one was ordered, at least not from us. We have heard that it will fit the AT4 model but there will be some pretty extensive modifications required like drilling into the frame and cutting of the bumper fascia and air dam.

@FrankL For a rear receiver hitch, the etrailer Class 3 Hitch # e79AR is what I recommend. Its a no-drill install so no major modifications. If you need a front hitch, the Draw-Tite # DT44HR is what we recommend. For this hitch the bumper fascia/underbody panel must be trimmed. Some trimming of the front air dam may also be required, and there will be drilling. There is some more significant modifications for this one but it is the only front hitch option for the Diesel models.

Jesse, I have read the posts and want to ask about my particular truck before ordering. I have a 2024 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT, Crew Cab, Short Bed, 4x4 X31, with the 3.0L Duramax Diesel. Can you confirm which options I have for a front-mounted hitch? Also, are you aware of any issues with a front-mounted hitch and issues with the sensors on the front of the truck?

@TimD The Draw Tite Front Hitch part # DT44HR is the only front hitch we are aware of that will fit the 2024 GMC 1500 SLT Crew Cab Short Bed Diesel. There will be some trimming of the bumper and/or air dam required. The hitch itself should not interfere with any sensors, but whatever accessory you add to the hitch would probably crate some interference.
