Question:
I am looking for a set of chains for a motor home with KO3 LT245/75R16 tires. Weight of the vehicle is about 9,600 lbs. There is not a lot of clearance so I need something as low profile as possible. Vehicle is AWD if that matters

Hey William, thanks for the information. For a set of low profile tire chains that fit LT245/75R16 tires, I recommend the Konig Tire Chains item # TH2004705255. These diamond pattern chains are great for great for snow and only require .59" of internal clearance past the inner sidewall. You will need at least 1-1/2" of clearance above the tops of your tires. The self-tensioning chains tighten and center automatically so you won't have to worry about purchasing additional tensioners or adjusting them.
Since your motorhome is AWD, you'll want to install the Konig item # TH2004705255 on the front tires as they are responsible for steering the vehicle. This will give you the best traction in snowy/icy conditions.
The Konig K-Summit Tire Chains item # TH02230K77 you were looking at, are going to be the best option if you have no room on the inside of your tires. They attach by one of the lug nuts so the chains don't go past the thread of the tires.
What year, make, and model is your motorhome?
