Will Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bag Kit F44XV Work On 2025 F250 With Front 2" Level Kit?

Updated 12/15/2025 | Published 12/08/2025

Question:

I’ve got a 2025 F-250 that the dealer leveled with a 2-inch front spacer. Will this Firestone wireless air bag kit still fit

Eric, good call checking - the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bag Kit # F44XV is designed specifically for stock-height rear suspensions, but a front leveling kit doesn’t change any of the spacing that matters for this system. So as long as the rear of your truck hasn’t been lifted, this kit will fit your F-250 with no issues.

Go ahead and give the rear a quick look just to confirm nothing was added back there, but based on what you described, you’re in great shape for using the # F44XV all in one kit with on-board compressor and wireless control.

If you want to double-check anything else, Eric, just let me know!

my 2025 F-250 also has a 2" front leveling kit, but I did add jounce springs on a previous truck and hated how the ride felt stiff. Does this Firestone kit ride any better when empty?

@Jake Ahh yeah that can happen on the jounce suspension enhancement such as Timbren or Sumosprings. The air bags on the other hand, like the Firestone kit mentioned above, are different in that regard. When the airbags are empty and you aren't towing, you are basically sitting on factory OEM suspension and you wouldn't even know the air bags are there. When the bags are aired up they will level the truck/trailer and you may have a little stiffer ride when fully loaded and towing, but that is the trade off so you don't squat and cause a dangerous towing situation.
