Measurement For FX4 Trim Levels Of 2025 F250 To Confirm Fitment Of Firestone Air Bag Suspension

Updated 12/15/2025 | Published 12/08/2025

Question:

Hey guys, I’ve got a 2025 F-250 FX4 and I want the wireless Ride-Rite kit. I saw something about having to measure by the bump stop? How do I know if this kit actually fits my truck?

Hey Brandon - great question, and yes, the FX4 trucks have one extra check. Firestone wants you to measure the distance from the top of your rear axle to the bottom of the bump-stop bracket. If that measurement is 40 mm, 70 mm, or 80 mm, the wireless Firestone Air Bag Kit # F44XV kit is a confirmed fit for your 2025 F-250 FX4.

The brackets bolt to factory holes, no frame drilling needed, and the kit is compatible with in-bed hitches on your truck. And just an fyi, it doesn't make a difference if you have 2wd or 4wd, or single or dual rear wheels.

If you can grab that measurement, I can confirm fitment since without that measurement for the FX4 models it's difficult to 100% confirm fitment.

I’ve also got a 2025 F-250 FX4 and measured 2-1/2 inches (which is like right around 70 mm) from axle to the bump stop bracket. Does that mean I’m good to order?

@Luis Yes sir, that is one of the confirmed measurements, so the # F44XV kit will fit your FX4 without any issues.
