Does etrailer Base Plate Kit for 2025 Ford Maverick Lariat Require ACC Sensor

Question:

Another 2025 Maverick owner has been updating me on his install. He indicated that the etrailer/demco baseplate did not fit something about the ACC sensor being 1/2 inch higher per etrailer staff. I am wondering now if this model E96GV will fit my 2025 Maverick Lariat with adaptive cruise?

Hey Michael, the install of the etrailer base plate kit part # e96GV does require moving the adaptive cruise control bracket in most situations. That is still true so it would be likely you'd need to move yours on a 25 Maverick Lariat.

This does not appear to be reflected in the instructions….unless they have been updated in the past few days. Will there be further guidance on what has to be done to make this fit, and could those modifications possibly void the warranty.

@MichaelR it hasn't made it's way into the instructions but from what we understand it should be pretty obvious what would need to be done. It's hard to say about the warranty but I wouldn't think so. Definitely a valid concern though.
