Question:
The installation instructions for the trailer bike rack are instructions for a rooftop rack. Is there a guide for installing it on the trailer?

Hey Melanie, sorry for the confusion. The Malone trailer bike rack part # MPG2100 is also a roof bike rack so that is why the instructions seem like they are for a vehicle roof and not a trailer. Since both situations involve attaching the rack to a set of crossbars the instructions are the same for attaching to a trailer as well. What trailer do you have?

We bought it through Native Watersports in Jensen Beach Florida. Ted Niedlander was the owner and so amazing, but he sadly just passed away. We got it in 2021 and I believe it's the Malone EcoSport with the retractable tongue. We have 2 kayaks that we put on the trailer (one is the Crescent Crew Tandem, so it's a barge almost. haha. I do photography off it, so I like the barge aspect). Anyway, I want to put my bike in between the 2 kayaks and there is space, but wanted to make sure this was the best option. I was actually trying to contact Ted and there was no answer, and then I found out he passed away. I'm not sure who will be taking over his business. It was definitely a local family business and he was truly beloved in our community. A huge loss for all of us.
